Learn how adaptable our brains are the benefit that is to you as you continue to grow and change on your health journey.  You are never stuck where you are.  We will also address how your nutrition plan might be adjusted for different needs.  I’ll share final thoughts as we wrap up our 13 week journey together.

FAQs

You will be given access to an online portal with all the materials and videos you will need throughout the program. You will also be given access to our private Facebook group for community, questions, and a place to celebrate your wins! In addition you will have two live group calls each month with Lindsay. 

You will be responsible for watching the weekly videos, setting up your routines, working out, and keeping Lindsay up-to-date with your weekly progress. Lindsay will also be proactively checking in with you!

Your results will be equal to the work you do!  The great news is that if you follow the program, you can expect to lose inches and fat on your waist, hips, and thighs.  You will know how to eat to support fat loss and weight management for the rest of your life.  It is possible to lose 20 pounds and 1-2 clothing sizes during the 13 weeks. You will grow in your relationship with God and develop the next higher version of yourself!

Yes, yes, and yes! Each workout has modifications galore! Lindsay is a master trainer and if there are any movements that cause you pain or that you have been advised not to do by your doctor, let her know and she will modify it just for you. You will be encouraged to challenge yourself on our level, wherever that is. The beauty of this is that as you become more fit you will continue to push yourself and get more out of every workout. 

You do not need to have any prior experience in fitness. Each workout comes with a coaching demo and explanation video where you can follow along and practice each movement before doing the full workout video.

As a female’s body ages and approaches menopause, fertility hormones (especially the estrogens) are in the process of shutting down. They help with our ability to manage our weight and build muscle mass.  

With that in mind, this program has been designed to use researched based fitness approaches to combat the drop in hormones and to get our digestive system and hormones related to food working in a more ideal way as they are designed to work. This combination, along with faith and mindset work, are a potent combination to overcome midlife weight gain and body changes.

Every step of the way we talk about nutrition. Nutrition is foundational to body composition changes and fat loss. Exercise is important, but nutrition is Queen. 

You will get practical tips to try and find what works best for you. This is your life and the approaches you use have to be something you can keep doing. You will have a food list of good, better, best choices. You will always have the choice about what you eat, and you will learn how some choices make you feel amazing and others might make you feel like crap. Make more of the choices that make you feel amazing!

This program is designed to be done at home - your living room, garage, or wherever you have a little space. Workouts range from 20-30 minutes, yoga practices can be closer to 45-55 minutes.  

There are 4 workouts a week with the program. You are welcome to go on walks or do some other type of movement that you enjoy as well. You do need time to recover, and you can increase your fitness with just the 4 days a week. 

You do not need to buy anything special. If you have a yoga mat, awesome.  You may find you’d like to buy one, but it is not necessary. If you have some sort of hand weight at home, that will also be helpful, but is not necessary.

The first thing is to be cleared by your doctor. After that Lindsay can work with you on meeting the nutritional plan based on your dietary restrictions. If you have a health condition we will walk slowly together, and with your doctor’s recommendations to have the program work for you. It is possible, depending on your condition, that Lindsay might not be the best fit for you.  So a conversation would be important before deciding to work together.

Women’s Strength Training Course

Are you living in Washington State near Lynnwood?  Then look no farther for the best women’s only weight training class around!  

We will meet twice a month at Local’s Gym to train and practice weight lifting movements.  Along with the coaching, you will also receive a training program for one month which you can complete at your house or in a gym.  

You will receive modifications to meet you where you are at with your fitness levels and equipment availability. 

In addition we will also cover nutrition to support all of your hard work to build muscles, tone up, and lose inches.
